Acting as a link in the production chain, the Experimental Centre of the Rhone Valley CEVR, carries out research and development on more than 60 hectares.
 

The research concerns the bulbs, vegetables and chick-pea species.

CEVR offers the following services :

• Varieties trials in plots
• Varietal screening
• Post controls
• Pre-bases and bases productions
• Experiments under insectproof greenhouses
• Tests Elisa analyses

CEVR uses specific materials from sowing to harvest and employs specialized persons.

CEVR offers offices accommodation.
Some of them are occupied at present time by technical institutes like ITEIPMAI (Technical Institute of the Perfume, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants).
